NUT MILK 3 WAYS

Dairy-free milk has come such a long way in the last few years. I remember when the only dairy-free option was soy at coffee places if they even had one! Now it is all over and growing in popularity and products. Have you ever thought making your own dairy- free milk would be great but maybe its too complicated or not worth the hastle? Making your own dairy-free milk, is simple and very cost effective! I have three go-to recipes I use frequently that are easy to make and are so good you may never buy nut milk again! ALMOND MILK 

Prep Time: Overnight

Servings: 20 oz. 

Ingredients

·      1 Cup Raw Almonds

·      Water for soaking almonds

·      3 1/2 Cups filtered water 

·     3 Dates 

Instructions

 1.   Place Almonds in Water for soaking and let sit overnight 

2.   Dump water and rinse Almonds 

3.   Place almonds, water, and dates into Vita-mix Blender and blend on high for 2-3 minutes

4.  Use nut milk bag or strainer over large glass bowl and poor blender contents in.  (I use THIS NUT MILK BAG

5. Strain and remove all liquid.

6. Store in air tight container

Use within 3-5 days as there are no preservatives.  I use THESE EASY CAP BOTTLES 

 



Cashew MILK 

Prep Time: Overnight

Servings: 20 oz. 

Ingredients

·      1 Cup Raw Cashews

·      Water for soaking cashews

·      3 1/2 Cups filtered water 

·     3 Dates 

Instructions

 1.   Place cashews in Water for soaking and let sit overnight

Time: 5 Minutes

Servings: 20 oz. 

Ingredients

·      1 Cup Coconut flakes

·      3 1/2 Cups Boiling water

Instructions

 1.   Place Coconut flakes and boing water into Vita-mix Blender and blend on high for 2-3 minutes 

2.   Use nut milk bag or strainer over large glass bowl and poor blender contents in.  (I use THIS NUT MILK BAG

3.   Strain and remove all liquid.

4.  Store in air tight container
