GOLDEN MILK
Golden Milk or Turmeric Lattes have been a staple part of my mornings for about a year now, at least on the days I'm not enjoying maca lattes! I don’t drink coffee as many of you know, and have always stuck to various kinds of teas until I started making my little "lattes" like matcha, turmeric, and maca! This Golden Milk is like a cup of sunshine full of warming and healthy ingredients, It does not disappoint! Check out the recipe below!
GOLDEN MILK
INGREDIENTS
2 Cups Almond Milk
1 TBS Coconut Oil
1 tsp ground turmeric (or 3 capsules)
1 TBS ground cinnamon
2 tsp grated fresh ginger
Pinch of salt
Freshly ground pepper
Honey to sweeten
Scoop of collagen peptides
INSTRUCSTIONS
- In a small saucepan add milk, cinnamon, and coconut oil. Bring to a soft boil.
- Place saucepan contents into a blender adding ginger, salt, pepper, honey, and collagen peptides. Blend for about a minute. (DO NOT ADD TURMERIC YET IT STAINS PLASTIC)
- Pour half of the blended drink into a cup and then add the turmeric stirring gently. Lastly add the remainder into the cup and enjoy!
